Hi. I'm Joyce. It's great to be a member of the PART family.
I started out in broadcasting while still a student at the Broadcasting Institute of MD. That is where I met my husband Tom. We have each worked a variety of radio formats from rock & roll to country. I've been so blessed to have been in broadcasting for 30 years. Our son Greg (recently married) works in broadcast engineering, as does Tom.
I find the paranormal very interesting and, fully, believe in spirit communication. I have experienced some very strange activity while working at the radio station at Harford Community College.
One occurrence was the outer door "bolted" shut and equipment, for no apparent reason, would malfunction. I still broadcast on the station, but, now do it from my home. A friend / co-worker believes that he saw an actual apparition in one of the buildings. I believe that is very possible.
Spirits like to communicate through electronics. They are not, necessarily, there to frighten us. Perhaps it was their "space" at one time and they felt comfortable there. This could be a residence, radio station etc.
Keep in mind, not all spirits are bad. There is always a reason for a ghost / spirit to be somewhere....whether it is seen or heard doesn't matter.
